Favourite albums:

If you didn't know I'm a huge lover of music. I listen to mainly just punk but I can honestly say I like most music types and have a basic knowledge of most of them. My range in music goes from proper rock like ACDC to indie music like The 1975. It's ridiculous but I really do love music. I spend at least 3-4 hours a day listening to music and that's probably with school. So with music being a big part of my life I thought I would share my favourite albums with you lot. I've also just realised how many times I've types 'I' in this paragraph. Yep ten time. That's a lot. Anyway. These aren't in any order because to be honest I couldn't choose I love them all for different reasons:

This album I only got recently at a charity shop which was a big score. I usually only go for books on charity shop runs but I always glance over the CDs to see if there's anything I like. Which I am glad I did because this was only £1. I even looked to see how much it was when I went to get some new CDs and I think I saved around £8 (I'll let you have a wild guess what I did with the £8). Then I bought a new book from my favourite book shop. So that was a good day. This album also really makes me laugh with all the titles of the songs being ridiculously long. It got to the point where I was listening to the album and one of my favourite songs came on so I said the title really fast. I was so please that I actually got the title right that I had to listen to the song again after my celebration.

Right this band was a complete obsession at one point and I think this album was the cherry on top. Every now and again I become obsessed with a band or a tv show or a book and then it controls my life for either a week or a month. This one was a month. Within that month I not only listened to all their songs and learnt all the words (and if you listen to the band you will know how hard that is to do), but I also bought a bit of merch. I don't usually buy merch and only own two band t-shirts this band being one of them. I really love this album and love Twenty One Pilots. I became part of the fandom at record breaking speed.

At first I this wasn't my favourite Paramore album but it really grew on me and now it's my favourite. I went through a really long Paramore phase a while again which is still going still. It was such a big phase that I made a playlist of just all my favourite Paramore songs and I think it was about 30-40 songs and I'd just listen to it none stop. I remember I did my Photography mock with this album in the background and I still loved it. Just so you know Photography mock are ten hours long split between two day so the fact I still loved this after ten hours proves my point.

This album was one of the first I listened to this summer. It was a bit of a contrast with the sunny sky then listening to the loud drums and guitars. Again I got this album at a charity but unfortunately not cheap enough to feel like I could get a few books as well. I really like Fall Out Boy for the two main reasons. One all theirs older songs have ridiculously long name and two their songs lead to one another. This album is great when I want to get something boring done and need some music in the background because it feels weird to skip the songs as they lead to one another.

This one is actually a family Cd as you can tell by how beaten up it is. It's been back and forth from my mum's car to my room and so on. We played this CD for a good month in the car and I really love these songs and can honestly say I know all the words to all the songs on this album. Ed Sheeran is one of my favourite artists and I don't think that will ever change. Whenever I'm asked why I like Ed Sheeran as I mainly like just punk I say it's like acoustic rap which is actually really weird and interesting to listen to.. That's the best way I can describe some of his songs because they're not quite pop and not quite rap. But still I love this album and can't wait for thee next one.

That's all for this post and thanks for reading. I'll see you next time.

Drawings #2:

I haven't done one these in nearly a year so I thought it was well overdue. So here you go some of the recent drawings I've been doing:

Don't mind the cheesy quote. This is one of my favourites as I doodle these arrows all the time but have never put them into a drawing.

After I finished this one the entire side of my right hand with coloured with different shades of blue and lets just say it didn't come off easily.

From cheesy quote to a skull. This one I had to draw for my art class however I love it still.

Thanks for reading I'll see you in the next post.

Someone Else's Life book review:

I don't usually go for these sort of books but me and my friend had this deal. If she reads my favourite book then I would read hers. So I made her read Percy Jackson and I'm reading this. May I just add she didn't actually all of Percy Jackson so shame on you Marty. I was quite happy with the book but again I don't usually read this sort of thing. It was good but I wouldn't read it again.

It is a very interesting book and it keeps you sucked into the book. When I started to read it, it was near the time of my exams so I didn't read as fast as usual but I still read quite a lot of it very soon. I just got stuck in the book and a few hours just passed. You really get invested in the characters through all the events, happy and sad, that happen. By the end of the book, you really care about the characters and what happens to them because you see them go through so much. This book has one of my favourite features. More than one viewpoint. It leaves the reader glued to the book waiting for the other character's story to develop and vice versa. It did annoy me that everytime something happened that the author switched viewpoints. As soon as you got really interested in one character they switched it to the other. Each chapter started with a big event and ended before the reveal of another. It was good at the start of the book however by the end I just wanted to know what was going to happen. The only other thing that I didn't like about this book, it was a bit manic depressive. It was almost like a trainwreck after a trainwreck after trainwreck.
My favourite characters have to Rosie and Holly just for the reason that you get so invested in them. You care about the other characters so much it's just that you see everything that happens through both of their viewpoints. Also, it was fun to see what the other thinks in the same situation when the author switched the views.
I may have said a few bads things about this book but overall I did enjoy it and would recommend it to people who like this sort of thing. However, it wasn't my sort of thing and I wouldn't read it again even though I enjoyed the experience.

Thanks for reading and I'll see you in the next post.
