Hans Christian Anderson Fairy Tales: The Darning Needle:

This one was one of the weirder stories as you can probably tell by the title. It's about a very proud darning needle that thinks it's very fine. The owner of this needle is only a cook however the needle thinks it's of a fine family of fingers. It's very clever how Andersen describes the fingers and it made me laugh at first. He  has very weird but good stories. Also, a load of strange events happen to the darning needle and lots of different things happen to it. I'm not going into much detail as I don't want to ruin the storyline. This is one of the slightly longer stories at a grand total of four pages. I thinks some of Andersen's writing style has rubbed off on me because some of the things I have typed up are not what I usually type. As you could probably tell if you read my blog regularly.
The moral behind this story is no matter how fine you are anything can happen to you good or bad. Also, another moral is not to look down on others. I think Andersen put morals in all his books because they might have been read to little kids and he wanted to tell them the important things in his time.
The ending was also a bit strange as it was neither happy or sad as you will see if you read this story. Again, I won't go into to much detail and I'll let you find out for yourself. Also, they are still amazing stories and I would recommend them to anyone.
Again, as I said in one of my newer post I would put the images at the start of every story up so here you go:

That's all for this post if you have any books or posts you want me to do then please put them in the comments and I'll see you next post.
