Night Runner: Book review:

For some of my work I had to read a book from an author called Tim Bowler. So I went to my library which is just down the road from me and they only had one book by him so I had to choose that one. I am so happy that I got to read this book I loved it so much. It's an action packed teen-adult book about a 15 year old called Zinny. The basic storyline is a boy called Zinny lives in a dodgy part of town near a railway bridge and is bunking of school so he won't get bullied. Then he hears someone ringing the doorbell and he sees someone looking at the house.  He waits for them to go and then he hears someone picking the lock of  the backdoor. As you might be able to tell things go downhill from their. His mum ends up in hospital and his dad goes missing. And he knows someone will die and it might be him (I have quoted the blurb a bit in this description just so you know).
   I'll try not to talk about it too much because this book has such an amazing storyline and I don't want to ruin it however I would recommend any of Tim Bowler's books as they are action filled and a real page turner. I have only read two of his books so I can't fully judge him as an author but so far  he has not disappointed me. If you don't like books that make you sit at the edge of your seat or a bit of blood then this might not be for you. However, if you don't like these sort of books I would still  give these books a go because you never know these books might change your mind.

Now for everyone's favourite of the post author facts. Tim Bowler has written around twenty books for teenagers. Also, he has won fifteen awards, which include the prestigious Carnegie Medal. His books have been translated into over thirty languages and have sold over a million copies worldwide.
